How yoga helped me solve my health issues!

I've been suffering from lot of issues related to my stomach since last 6-7 years. But since last 2-3 years it was worse when I diagnosed with E-coli and had to eat lot of antibiotic which made my stomach issues worse than ever.
I had stomach issues like :- acidity, gas, heart burn, frequent urination, constipation (though I was drinking 7-8 glass of water every day), bloating, chest pain because of gas (this was happening very few times only).
Apart from stomach issue I had other issues like bronchitis which bothered me a lot. Also allergy issues bugged me whenever season change.
Five month ago, I went to India visit my parents. During my visit i heard about this guy who recently came to live in my village and offers free yoga (pranayam) class to villagers. As I was very on very busy schedule, I could go to meet him only two days before I had to leave for USA.
When I met him, we talked talked for 3-4 hours. I told him about my all health issues and he did some acupressure to ease my pain and also he got to know my other issues just by pressing some nerves. He told me insight of yoga. Also described what else can yoga do to my body if i practice regularly. He told about his story, how he started yoga forty years ago. He shared some technical knowledge of yoga which really helped me a lot.
He asked me to join his free yoga class once. He asked me to meet him at 4am in the morning. I joined him 5 am and practiced Pranayam and yoga with him for 2 hours continuously.
He asked me to repeat this everyday in the morning to get rid of all my health issues.

I came back to California and started routine and yoga practice prescribed by him and within 1 month I could see the result.
My all stomach related issues has been cured.
My allergy and blocked nose issue also got resolved.
This is what I did:-
I wake up every morning at 4:00 am (sometimes  at 4:30 or 5:00 am).
Drink 3 glass of water (Water kept in copper vessel overnight, If water is cold quickly heat to bring at room temperature)
Go to restroom (if I get pressure :),which I always get after drinking 3 glass of water) in winter I drink water at room temperature.
Do pranayam and yoga for 2 hours ( I strictly follow two hours for 1 month after that I sometimes finish in 1 hour 30 mins too ). Note: Do not drink water in these 2 hours
Brakfast between 7-9 am not after that.
I drink 1-2 glass of water 30-60 minutes before having lunch or dinner,
Drink water after 60 minutes of lunch or dinner
Dinner before 8 pm.
Why I gave time for breakfast and dinner? There is a good fact behind these yoga and breakfast timing. These are little technical so I'll write about those in nextblog.

Migraine or headache - Tips to deal with it

Yesterday, I had bad headache. It started when i sat out with sunlight directly hitting my front head (generally i sit like that so sunlight hit my back). When i came back to work, I heard few of my colleague's spouse has migraine since long time and they were finding very hard to deal with it. Then I decided I need to do some research and find out why it's happening and then i can do something to get rid of it. If you have chronic migraine then it takes some discipline in your life to overcome it but in this blog I'm going to talk about acute migraine (which does not occurs often). Serotonin drops from brain blood stream thus blood vessel become narrow, then body tries to widen the blood vessel and that's when migraine starts. I did try some breathing pattern and it helped me. I started listening some raga for migraine relief (just googled and played it). It helped a little. (but this optional step) Sit in Padmasan or Bajraasan,  Take a deep breath-in  ...

A Journey toward nothing

Unknowingly, I started journey toward nothing in November 2015, when I visited India and met one person who was practicing yoga since last 40 years. Had talked to him about my health issues and he offered two hour session next day. I returned USA and started doing pranayam (a part of yoga) and meditation. I practiced for 8 months waking up in the morning, cutting my sleep hours and giving 2 hours daily for pranayam and yoga. On August 2016, one day my colleague sent me a link which had news about awakening third eye. I believed in the post but he didnt. I started practicing for it in 4-5 days, while doing meditation, I felt something which cannot be described in words and that changed whole perception of me and my life.  It was August 13, 2016. I thought it's called enlightenment as I got answer of lot of my questions. But later after talking to the person, whom I met in India, I realized it's start of my journey toward nothing. I had achieved first stage in journey towar...

You are just an Iron

You are just an Iron. You get attracted to magnets all around you. You have to become magnet to attract things. But you have to complete the journey of becoming magnet from Iron. It's not easy; you have to electrify yourself long enough to become magnet. But before you have to decide if at all you want to be a magnet or continue to live like Iron. -Mani Bhooshan
